Web App Tcpping

Hello,

I have web app called 'seg-personal-info', then i do tcpping from this app console to DB server 10.201.10.4 and the tcpping is connected

My colleague do same thing but why he get 'connection attempt failed'?

Based on the information shared, I understood that establishing the tcp connection between the app and endpoint is failing. Below are some of the possible reasons for run time connection failures.

Service might not be available, please check the status of your endpoint server.

Endpoint firewall blocks Web App or Function App's IP address, please check the IP restriction or application-level firewall.

The traffic was blocked by Network Security Group or Firewall, please check your NSG or/and Firewall configuration if there is any.

The traffic was routed to a wrong destination, please check your User Defined Route Table if there is any.

The endpoint is an Azure Resource in a VNet in a different region.

Hello,

Connection between the app and endpoint is failing yes but for some account.

Ilogim to azure portal with my account, the tcpping is ok. But when my colleage login to azure portal, the tcpping is failed.

Hi,

In second screenshot, incorrect port (1443 instead of 1433) is specified. Please have your colleague re-test using correct port.
