How to open files in the "Open with Explorer " not working in Sharepoint 2010?

Hi all, Whenever open the SharePoint library in open the explorer in windows explorer displayed folder empty in SharePoint library files. In my SharePoint document library more than 10000 items available. I have created multiple views. Document library one view less than 1000 files available. I try to open with explorer in windows explorer showing folder empty. can you please provide a proper solution to resolve this issue![34303-pdf.png][1]. It is not recommended to exceed 2,000 items in a list level, and to use Explorer view to view large document libraries. Instead, you may choose to use All Document view, when open a SharePoint document library in Explorer view, placing the pointer over any of the enumerated files requests metadata for all of the files in the folder that you are browsing.

Hi @Narasimman Narasimman

Using "Open with Explorer" will open all files, even if you create multiple views.

Since this library stores a lot of content, I suggest you change its structure appropriately and use a "folder-subfolder" structure to store files.

An example: If a folder has 8,000 items, but it has a subfolder that contains 4,000 items and only 4,000 items in the root, then Open with Explorer will show all 4,000 items.

Hi all,

     In my case, SharePoint document library files open with explorer Contribute, full control permission user also not showing the files in the windows explorer view. Site collection administrator user displayed with windows explorer as an empty file. Please provide the proper solution to resolve this issue.
