I have hosted a web application , frequently i get the following error "Failed to load resource : The server responded with a status of 503 ()" . Struggling to find the root cause since 2 months.

Anonymous2023-08-28T13:14:36.7566667+00:00 Does this issue only occur in production environments? The 500 http error means there are some issue in your project or IIS.
If you want to check the issue, it's better to raise a azure support ticket. But now worries, you also could check the EventViewer Logs first, and share with us. By the way. please don't forget to hide the sensitive information.

The 503 issue is only in the production environment. Attached EventViewer logs below

2023-08-29T06:26:04.75+00:00 It's information and warning. The messages means the application was shutdown due to inactivity. My suggestion is we can change the idle timeout to keep the application alive.
- Install Application Initialization Module (IIS) Server Manager > Add roles and Features > Server Roles > Web Server (IIS) > Application Development > Application Initialization
- IIS > Your App Pool > Start Mode > Always Running
- IIS > Your App Pool > Idle Time-out > 0
- IIS > Your App > Advanced Settings > Preload Enabled > True
- Setup your app for In-Process hosting model (web.config changes for Asp.net core module and code changes to set correct current directory)
And then we can monitor this web application to see if this problem continues to occur?

It contains a lot of issue. I don't know why your application try to delete the folder under the C:\ drive.
And I also don't know how you application call the COM object. You could create a support ticket for IIS Team.Thanks for your time.

To see further into such performance related issues, you might open a support case via https://support.microsoft.com. More data (like performance counters) need to be collected and analyzed so as to learn the root cause.
