On a Win 10 Pro PC, I created a 16GB USB stick using MediaCreationTools to prepare it for installing Win11 Pro.

Once the preparation is complete, I reboot, select the UEFI USB stick, choose "Install", Win 11 Pro, the 500GB NVME disk, remove the old partitions, ask to use the whole disk, the installation starts, copy the files, prepares them for installation and crashes with error 0XC0000005.

Tried several times: once it stops at 54%, another time at 78%, another time at 33%, then 44%.

Also changed the usb stick, same problem.

I also tried downloading the official ISO and preparing the USB stick with Rufus. Same problem.

Meanwhile, the PC with Win 10 Pro is now unusable and I have to work with a laptop with Win 10 Home.

    Hi.

This error typically indicates a problem with Windows driver, memory, or security features. Here are some possible solutions you can try to fix this error:

    1. Make sure your PC meets the minimum requirements to run Windows 11. You can refer to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11-system-requirements-86c11283-ea52-4782-9efd-7674389a7ba3
    2. Update your drivers and BIOS to the latest versions. You can find drivers and BIOS updates for your PC model on the manufacturer's website.
    3. Run memory diagnostic tests to check for any errors or failures in RAM.

    Hope the information is helpful.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
