I have AAD Password protection enabled on my on-premise Domain. I wanted to perform in-place OS upgrade for DCs, for which i follow process (Demotion>>in-place upgrade >> DC Promotion).

Post upgrade, Will my DC agents start functioning properly? or what could be the process to take care of DC agents during in-place upgrade?

    Hi Vijay,

This should be okay, the agents will perform as it was in the previous state.Just make sure all the required pre-reqs are still in place and comms with Azure is available. The agents will function after the upgrade no issues.

If you have issues you can reinstall the agent and follow the standard process of the configuration.
