For devportal development, I would like to additionally use a custom domain.

Hi kshepic,

Yes you can add multiple custom domains to APIM.

This feature also depends on the Tier of your APIM. Consumption, Basic and Standard Tier do not have this feature.

I am currently using the developer plan and Basic both.

Does [Consumption, Basic and Standard Tier] mean that more than 2 additional custom domain settings for devportal are not possible?

Hello, @kshepic - Thanks for reaching out!

To clarify about the multiple domains support, the following is stated in the docs:

The Premium and Developer tiers support setting multiple hostnames for the Gateway endpoint.

So the multiple domains are really for Gateways. However, even if you did have a Premium SKU, it seems that the Developer Portal can only be mapped with 1 domain at a time.
