I have a Windows SOLT IVW tab that has Windows 8 installed in it. I want to use it for my car and some Android apps will be needed for that e.g.: Google maps, YouTube, Carlauncer, etc.
I've tried with an emulator but it got too slow with that I've installed Android on that from Android x86 but the problem is apps are not working properly

  1. Google navigation shows to turn on location as it is already on
  2. I'm unable to login to play store( It goes to not responding when I click on email test bar)

Do I need to reinstall android on that and which version will be suitable for Windows SOLT IVW

    Hello there,

There is no official documentation to tell the supported Android version . The best way would be to reinstall the latest Android version and see if that helps.

Intel also maintains some Android images for Windows machines. You'll find these as part of the open source Celadon project, available to download on GitHub.

Hope this resolves your Query !!
