SQL Server 2022 Developer ISO download never finishes

I am trying to download an ISO of the SQL Server 2022 Developer Edition using the Installer downloaded from Microsoft. It runs quickly, then at the end, just wanders, with the size growing past the total download size. It never completes the download of the ISO and so I Cancel and then delete the file because I assume it is corrupt, because it is way larger than it should be.

Tried download again from another machine, no better (screenshot). Tried running the install anyway and got an error about a .rll file being damaged.

    I guess "another machine" was a machine in the same network? This sounds like some sort of local network issue. You may want to try a different network environment.

    For what it's worth, I was able to download the ISO successfully. I did not try to install from it, though.

    Try downloading evaluation edition. you can choose Developer Edition during setup even if is eval.

    also make sure your internet connection is working fine. I never had issues downloading the EXE that gets the ISO
