How can I open a .docm word document without any markups?

I have word documents in docm ext, that track changes because they are fill out forms. I want to know how I can open the documents without showing the All Markup view under Tracking in Review. I have some that don't, but the majority do so at opening. I have tried saving a document with a No Markup view, but as soon as I reopen it, the All Markup view is back. I don't know what's different on the docs that don't open with markups since they are also tracking changes.

    Hi @Jay Eskivel,

I'm afraid this is by default in Word. You will see the All Markup view after opening a Word file which enables Track Changes. You need to change the view to No Markup every time you open the file.

I suggest you go to this Microsoft Word feedback portal: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/forum/fb6d67e3-301c-ec11-b6e7-0022481f8472 to share your idea with Microsoft. The product team actively monitors threads over there.

Is this restricted editing (document protection) with the "Track Changes" option selected? In that case, I don't see a way to prevent the markup from showing. Maybe some other type of protection would be more appropriate for these documents that you are dealing with?
