Word AutoRecovery Panel

In Office 365, if my computer closes and reboots, when Word reopens it opens the Document Recovery Panel next to the document. If I click a document, it closes the open window and the recovery panel. Other versions of Word kept the panel open until I closed it. How do I stop Word from closing the panel so I can check all the documents it pulls in?

I know it's possible to open the folder and look at files that way. I prefer having the panel as a means to check against.

    Hi @BJ Swayne,

As per my knowledge, it is by default in Microsoft 365 Word and I'm afraid there is currently no interface to change it. I suggest you go to this feedback portal: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/forum/fb6d67e3-301c-ec11-b6e7-0022481f8472 to share your idea with Microsoft. The product team actively monitors threads over there.
