Word AutoRecovery Panel

Question

In Office 365, if my computer closes and reboots, when Word reopens it opens the Document Recovery Panel next to the document. If I click a document, it closes the open window and the recovery panel. Other versions of Word kept the panel open until I closed it. How do I stop Word from closing the panel so I can check all the documents it pulls in?

I know it's possible to open the folder and look at files that way. I prefer having the panel as a means to check against.

As per my knowledge, it is by default in Microsoft 365 Word and I'm afraid there is currently no interface to change it. The product team actively monitors threads over there.
