SSIS can not use logging

There is no option to enable logging for it in the view. Why?

    Hi @alwaysonhigh,

    Not sure if you are using VS2022.

    There is a known issue in VS2022 that you could not enable the logging.

    Update your SSIS2022 to the newest version could resolve the issue.

    You have to setup the configuration (drop-down right beside) first, before you can enable it.

    Hi @alwaysonhigh,

    Whatever you tried to do is a leftover from the obsolete SSIS 2005 - 2008 for backward compatibility. Logging was a design time configuration on a developer machine in that era.

    Starting from SSIS 2012 onwards logging became a run-time configuration on the SSIS server.
