Webpage headers do not appear when using Chrome

When someone opens the intranet site (sharepoint server 2010) using chrome the webpart headers do not appear.

Chrome browser:

Edge browser:

Any ideas why this happens when the 2 different browsers are used. We do have to have edge in IE mode for the headers to appear on the edge browser.

This issue may be caused by the customized codes are not compatible with Google Chrome.

Due to Edge is developed by Microsoft, it has better compatibility with SharePoint, the customized page layout shows correctly in the Edge.

Thanks for your response. Is there a different page layout that I should use instead of the one I am using? Is there a way to update the html script to look at the browser and if it is chrome to print the header and if edge do what it is doing now?

ok so I think I narrowed it done to the customcss file. It looks like the system does not like the first rule if the title ^= "" to print out an orange banner. When I select the other color banners they work both in Chrome and Edge without IE mode. Can you tell me what the path is for the images? Is there a standard location for these files? You may not know the answer to this. I can ask my boss next week when he comes in.

The images path should be C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\14\TEMPLATE\IMAGES
