Issue with Google private app on Managed Home Screen

Dear Support,

We have enrolled over 60+ devices using the 'Corporate-owned dedicated devices' enrollment type. These devices are being managed through the Microsoft Managed Home Screen app (KIOSK Multi-App mode).

Issue: we've encountered an issue where one of our Google Private apps is not launching on the managed screens. Interestingly, the app functions properly when the managed homescreen is removed.

I've already granted full permissions using 'app configuration policies,' but the issue persists. Please note that the same private app launches without any problem on several devices that have been enrolled with the same configuration.

I've attempted to resolve this by performing factory resets and re-enrolling the devices from scratch. Despite these efforts, the problem continues to occur on a subset of the devices.

Could you kindly provide assistance in troubleshooting this issue?

From your description, we understand that your private Google apps cannot be opened on Managed Home screen.

Based on my experience, it can be that the private app has some compatibility issue with managed home screen app. Here I suggest that you open case to look into the issue:

Thanks for your help. I was able to resolve the issue by enabling Allow notification access for managed home screen.
