Can I link specific OneDrive folders for Clients using Lists?

Not sure if it is possible, but I am using MS Teams with Lists and Lookups to collaborate with my assistants on client cases.

Right now I have a main Client List with a lookup to Matters (some clients have more than one matter). From Matters I'd like to link to the client's specific OneDrive file that I have.

In One Drive (Business), I have the following folder structure:

Clients > [Matter - e.g., Criminal, Immigration] > [Client Name] (e.g., Clients/Criminal/SMITH, John)

If John Smith has a Criminal Matter, is there a way I can link his OneDrive file folder through Lists so I can see all those documents and my assistants can work on them?

I know I can click the "File" tab in a channel and link to this, but then that tab would only link John Smith's folder, whereas I have multiple clients/folders and want each client entry in the list to link to its own separate folder for that client. I don't want to create separate channels per client or even, for that matter, separate teams for each client.

Thanks.

    Hi @REMesq

Welcome to our forum! Teams tag is mainly focused on the general issue of Microsoft Teams application troubleshooting.

According to your description, if you can quickly categorize and link to other places in Teams, we recommend that you use the OneNote tab in your channel. For the OneNote tab, you can add multiple columns and further categorize, then rename the chapters according to your needs. To add a OneNote tab, you need to click + on the right side of the channel and search for OneNote Add. Once added, right-click to rename it as needed.

    Hope this helps!
