Hello
Thank you for your question and reaching out.
1. Please Start the Windows update troubleshooter.
Navigate to Settings >> Troubleshooter >> System Additional troubleshooter >> Select Windows Update and press the Run button.
2. Remove the Software Distribution Folder from your computer.
Go to the "C:\Windows" folder.
Look for and delete the "SoftwareDistribution" folder. You can also rename the folder "SoftwareDistributionOld" if you want.
3. Run the system file checker to see if there are any corrupted system files that are simply looping around and causing this type of problem.
To launch the system file checker, type Command Prompt into the search box next to the Windows icon and select Run as administrator. When finished, type and enter sfc /scannow.
4. Disable any Antivirus program or Windows firewall you may have for temporary purpose.
5. Cleanup below Temp folders location -> Open Start -> Run -> Type below location one-by-one and press enter
-> C:\Windows\Temp
-> %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp
