Can't Find My Resource

This is going to sound incredibly dumb, but I am a developer trying to figure out this whole Azure thing so please have patience with me.

I created a website many many months ago, and I hosted it in Azure. I know it is hosted in Azure because it has a ".azurewebsites.net" URL. For some reason, when I am trying to locate the resource in Azure, I can't find it anywhere in my account. This application also connects to a SQL Server database, but I can't find that resource either in my account.

I have a couple accounts, one personal one and one for work, but I don't see the resource in either one. I really have no idea what to try next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello @Thomas

Thank you for posting your question on this Azure Q&A community.

I would like to help you with this concern and let me gather my 2 cents here....

-Have you tried to use Azure graph by getting a CSV file generated with all the azure resources listed?

-You might try to use Azure Resource visualizer blade option... Did you try it?

-If you have any other VM within your tenant... Have you tried to do a DNS query to find the IP address mapped to it?

Looking forward to hearing from you

    Cheers,

@Thomas I like risolis suggestions. Two more suggestions:

    1. Locate your bill and see what subscription ID is being used. It might even say what the email ID being used is.
    2. Open a free subscription support ticket. They help customers locate services all the time. See here to open the ticket.
