There is a Virtualnet and a scaleset VM under a resource group. Inside a Vnet there was a subnet created already. On top of that i created another subnet named as AzureBastionSubnet and deployed the bastion for a scaledset VM. Now i want to know how to delete the bastion instance and the subnet as well?? Will i be billed even though i never used it??

    @SeyedIsmailMohamedSalih-4169

    Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & I hope you are doing well.

    I understand that you would like to know how to delete a Azure Bastion and the billing component.

    Azure Bastion is billed hourly from the moment the resource is deployed until the resource is deleted, regardless of outbound data usage. The hourly pricing will be based on the SKU selected, number of scale units configured, and data transfer rates.

    Refer : https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/azure-bastion/

    To calculate exact pricing based on region and Scale Units used, use Azure Pricing Calculator

    Now, to delete the Azure Bastion,

    • You can simply navigate to the Bastion resource.
    • And delete this resource from the Portal.

    Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance here.

    Thanks,

    Kapil
