When will Microsoft stop supporting .net 4.8

We use .net 4.8. We are trying to understand if we need to upgrade to .NET 7 ... or we can delay the decision by a few years/months.

    Framework focuses on the windows platform, and .Net is different from it.

    You can always upgrade according to your needs.

    .NET Framework Support Policy

    There are currently no plans to stop support for Framework 4.8.

    You can see the next discontinued version 4.6.2 is also in 2027. enter image description here
