Unable to delete virtual networking vnet.

Failed to delete subnet 'blog-flaskAppSubnet'. Error: Subnet blog-flaskAppSubnet is in use by blog-flask_group/providers/Microsoft.Network/virtualNetworks/blog-flaskVnet/subnets/blog-flaskAppSubnet/serviceAssociationLinks/AppServiceLink'>blog-flaskVnet/blog-flaskAppSubnet/AppServiceLink and cannot be deleted. In order to delete the subnet, delete all the resources within the subnet. See aka.ms/deletesubnet.

Workaround:

Create App Service Plan with the same name as the deleted one

Create App Service with the same name as the deleted one

Link App Service with the VNET subnet

Disconnect VNet from App Service -> Networking -> VNet integration -> Disconnect

Delete subnet

I tried like this. but still not found. I need your help;

I understand that you are unable to delete a Virtual network and receiving the below error: "Error: Subnet blog-flaskAppSubnet is in use by flask_group/providers/Microsoft.Network/virtualNetworks/blog-flaskVnet/subnets/blog-flaskAppSubnet/serviceAssociationLinks/AppServiceLink'>blog-flaskVnet/blog-flaskAppSubnet/AppServiceLink and cannot be deleted".

And you've already tried the recommended steps, but it didn't help.

If the above steps didn't help in fixing your issue, we may need to raise a support ticket to get the Service Association Link (SAL) deleted from the backend. So, if you have a support plan, I request you file a support ticket, else please do let us know, we will try and help you get a one-time free technical support.

Thank you @GitaraniSharma-MSFT ,but one problem is that I don't have any support plan as only I have free and basic plan. Is there any help that I will able to solve this matter?

@Anonymous , I tracked the support request and found that it is now resolved stating you were able to delete the Vnet.

You already tried the recommended steps, but it didn't help.

So, we created a support request to delete the AppServiceLink from the backend.

The support team engaged the backend tem and they deleted the Orphaned Service Association Link, post which you were able to delete the Vnet successfully.
