I'm trying to accomplish a dropdown for a ribbon in a PowerPoint presentation. Using the Yeoman generator, I have already created an add-in, and it's displaying the ribbon along with its HTML contents.

User's image

What I need is that when I click on the ribbon named 'showtaskpane' instead of displaying the HTML content, it should show a dropdown with two dummy values: 'Value A' and 'Value B.'"

Below is the sample dropdown structure that I required.

I tried with several methods to add a dropdown but I'm not getting a result as expected, tried with buttons too.
below is the code snippet that yeoman generator for Office Add-in provided.
