When I open azure cloud shell it asked me for a password which I don't have. A year ago it didn't ask me for a password. Can I setup it to how it was a year ago.

@Humphrey, Timothy L (RIS-HBE) - Welcome to Microsoft Q&A and thanks for reaching out to us.

Azure Cloud Shell does not require a password to log in. Instead, it uses your Azure credentials to authenticate you.

When you first launch Azure Cloud Shell, you will be prompted to select your preferred shell environment (Bash or PowerShell) and to create a storage account if you don't already have one. Once you have selected your shell environment and created a storage account, you should be automatically logged in to Azure Cloud Shell using your Azure credentials.

If you are being prompted for a password when launching Azure Cloud Shell, it's possible that there is an issue with your Azure account or your browser's cache and cookies. You can try clearing your browser's cache and cookies or try using a different browser or an incognito/private browsing window to see if that resolves the issue.

Hope this helps. and please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
