Please check it via OWA to make sure the new added mailbox can be accessed properly.
With that confirmed, it's suggested to try turning off Exchange cached mode via File > Account Settings by following steps in this link and check if it can help.
In case the error persists, I'd recommend create a new Outlook profile and see the result. For more details about how to create a new Outlook profile and switch between different profiles, you may refer to: Overview of Outlook e-mail profiles.
