We are planning to migrate on-premises to Azure VM by lift and shift using Azure migrate tool.

Always-ON,Mirroring,Transactional replication is configured on servers.

xp_cmdshell and CLR is used in few servers.

One of the critical servers have multiple databases of more then 2 TB size.

Any precautions to be taken while using Azure Migrate\issues expected.

Looking for guidance on Migration.

    Hi Venkata,

you are looking for guidance on how to (Lift & Shift) -VM replication through Azure Migrate) SQl AlwaysOn to Azure?

Yes, it is possible to replicate and migrate through Azure migrate tool using the agent-based migration approach, which treats any server or virtual machine as a physical server.

check the below article for step by step guide

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-sql/migration-guides/virtual-machines/sql-server-availability-group-to-sql-on-azure-vm?view=azuresql

Using the Azure migration tool, you will be able to migrate each replica in the availability group to an Azure VM hosting SQL Server, as well as the cluster metadata, availability group metadata and other necessary high availability components.

For the full migration guide and different migration scenarios please check the following link
