Emails being sent to Distribution list are being received twice

Good Morning,

We have a Distribution list. When some email, not all are sent to it, the recipients receive the email twice. One of the emails will have an informational line in it that reads This Message was AutoForwarded. It appears the same person is sending the email twice. The subject does not contain FW: or have a different sender. There are over 200 people in this DL, and I would like to rule out if possibly someone in this group has a rule setup to do this, or just to try and figure out where the forward is occurring and how to get rid of it. This is jamming up people's inboxes.

We are a hybrid shop, our DLs are managed on-premises and our mailboxes are hosted online.

    Thank you for the feedback. I found the answer in the message headers and we found the person who has a rule that states if the message is from the DL redirect it to the DL.
