All,
We are in the middle of a migration from Exchange 2016 to O365. We noticed a glitch where if the teammate is onprem and has their OOO on and gets migrated to O365, afterwards when they get back, they can turn off their autoreply and it is disabled in Outlook/Webmail; but it is now stuck in Teams. Teams will show the option for it to be disabled, but the status will show "Available Out of Office" With the OOO message showing. This will be showing on the desktop app, Web version and Intune.
We tried multiple ways to disable but still unable to clear it out. Tried to connect to ExchangeOnline PS and run commands to set it to Null, it will show in PS that its disabled with no message but Teams still shows it being OOO. We used a test mailbox and was able to reproduce the error; even tried to roll the mailbox back to onprem, but there was nothing to clear out. I tested it on my mailbox, and was able to clear it - at least I thought I did, but it looked like it cleared out on it's own, some users have had the glitch clear after a few days, but some still have it for 10 - 21 days.
We have a Sev B open with Microsoft and will be gathering logs and Fiddler network traces for them, but wanting to know if any one has seen this in the past month at their company and if so, have steps on how to fix it.
