Under normal circumstances, the contact list can be used, possibly due to a server connection interruption or a malfunction caused by storing too many contacts. Try adding a new contact list and only add a few users to check if it is feasible. Otherwise, the design of New Outlook may not be complete yet, so switch back to the classic version for use.
How do I work with contacts lists in New Outlook?
I use contacts lists in "old" Outlook. When I turned the toggle to try New Outlook, those contact lists and some of my contacts did not come over. I was able to re-enter missing contacts into and set up the contacts lists in New Outlook, a process that took a couple of hours! The first mailing went out to one group and triggered a red message telling me that my message could not be sent. I clicked on the "more information" option and was taken back to my list of emails. The problem has persisted and I have since gone back to "old" Outlook to do any mailings that go to one of my groups of contacts. Not sure what the issue is. Having to run two versions of Outlook is not efficient. Thanks

2023-10-23T06:30:03.2266667+00:00 I'm having the same issue. I'm using a Microsoft Surface PC. None of my contacts imported over from the old app and the only way to import contacts is via .csv but my contacts list is in a .eml format. Also I've noticed that I keep getting adds in my inbox even though I have the add feature switched off and I'm using a business account. Seems to be a lot of bugs still to iron out.
Please note that we are using a Yahoo business provider for our emails but using it in the outlook app encase this has any influence on the issue.
