I purchase a new Lenovo laptop with windows 11 home. I uninstalled trial Office and ran Office 2019 install disk (that i have used successfully before) and get the message that the install completed successfully. However, none of the office's apps show up in the app list and when I try to open an Office file it doesn't start.

    Hello

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with Office 2019 on your new Lenovo laptop. Here are a few steps you can try:

1.Check the Startup tab in Task Manager: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to launch Task Manager. Switch to the Startup tab from the top. Check if the status of the Office apps you want to launch is Disabled. If it is, then right-click on it and select Enable from the menu.

2.Reinstall Office 2019: Use this tool from Microsoft to remove all remnants of any previous Office Installation: Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant. Restart (not shut down) your PC. Then, go to Microsoft Account Services and re-install Office from there.

3.Repair the installation: Download the iso file to cover and repair the installation. This process will not affect your files and data, but you can repair your system errors with great probability without wasting a lot of time.
