State of the art URL monitoring with SCOM?

Hi all,

what are Microsoft's plan with regards to state of the art URL monitoring in SCOM? Even SCOM 2022 still uses Internet Explorer in the background. Plus the Web Application Transaction Monitoring not working properly on recent operating systems and SCOM versions.

URLGenie uses IE as well...

Are there any other management packs that allow simulation of a user login?

I'm surprised that Microsoft is lacking in that area. I could setup a multistep web test in Azure and then ingest the results via the Azure MP. But that sounds a bit complicated to me.

Thanks
Thorsten
