How can I decide the most cost-effective pricing model if I wish to use Azure Document Intelligence only for classification and separation using both pre-built and custom classification models

I have a requirement where I wish to use Azure Document Intelligence only to classify and separate 1 Million pages per year.

I do not wish to do any extraction. And I do wish to create custom classificaton models as well.

What would be the most cost-effective pricing model for me?

Hello @Somujjwal Saikia , Thanks for using Microsoft Q&A Platform.

As per the pricing options we have Pay-As-You-Go and Commitment Tier pricing for the document intelligence.

If you anticipate processing a higher volume of pages, you may consider the Commitment Tier pricing model. Please visit the documentation for more information: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/ai-document-intelligence

Also here is the best way to you can use the Azure pricing calculator to estimate your hourly or monthly costs for using Azure services: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/calculator/

Here is the screenshot of the sample estimate: navigate the Azure calculator page->select AI+ Machine learning->choose Azure AI services and scroll down to Document intelligence:

You can compare the estimated costs based on the pricing tier you would like to choose from these calculations.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Vasavi
