I'm looking for an RTOS to work with Texas Instruments Hercules Family MCUs.
And it is preferable if the RTOS supports the POSIX APIs (threading, etc.).
So, I have two questions:

  1. Is the "API Compatibility Kit for POSIX", which was available from Express Logic, available from Microsoft?
  2. Are there any plans to add the Hercules Family MCUs to the Azure RTOS supported hardware list?
    Someone please answer those questions.
    Thank you in advance.

We can send you the POSIX kit - reach out to us directly. For a more complete, supported POSIX wrapper, check out Mapusoft.

We are in discussions with TI. Hopefully they will add the Hercules family soon! It would be helpful if you reached out to TI as well and let them know you want to run Azure RTOS on the Hercules.

    Cheers,
    Scott
