    Hi @Carlos Pineda ,

which Status is shown in the Azure Portal for the VM? The Status should be Stopped (deallocated) before you can start the VM again.

    Hello @Carlos Pineda,

It could be just cashing issue in your browser.

I'd recommend to refresh the web page and check again.

In addition, please insure what the deallocate operation is fully completed and your VM shows the status "deallocated".

    Sincerely,

    Olga Os.

    Hello Olga Osinskaya,

Thanks a lot for your help.

I think the problem was a fail in Azure because the status was:

    1. Running, but Apache in VM not responding. Then I selected "stop" VM.
    2. Deallocated, but portal show "start" and "stop" options disabled.
    3. After long time, portal show "start" enabled then I selected "start".
    4. VM was in "updating" state a long time.
    5. VM was result in "Error" state, then I selected "start"
    6. Finally VM was in "Running" state.

The current versión is Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS, may be I need to update to Ubuntu 20 or 22.

    Thanks for your help.

    Best regards.
