Help!!! Exit Code - 2068052377

Question

Hi all!

I've installed previously SQL 2022 Dev but then for some reason I've had an error when working with Power BI which lead me to uninstall it.

Now, I want to install again in the same machine and I'm getting this error. (see image attached)

Already tried:

• uninstall all SQL folders in C: path
• uninstall all SQL in Regedit
• Run the instalation process as Admin

Can you help me figuring out what I'm doing wrong and how to correct it?

Component error code:          1639
Component log file:            C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\160\Setup Bootstrap\Log\20230910_234200\sql_engine_core_inst_Cpu64_1.log
Error description:             Invalid command line argument. Consult the Windows Installer SDK for detailed command line help.

Try to run the command from command prompt:

msiexec /x {specified instance}
