    Hi Cynthia,

I'd recommend you change your password and enable two-step verification:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/how-to-use-two-step-verification-with-your-microsoft-account-c7910146-672f-01e9-50a0-93b4585e7eb4

Turn two-step verification on or off

Go to the Security basics page and sign in with your Microsoft account.

    1. Select More security options.
    2. Under Two-step verification, choose Set up two-step verification to turn it on, or choose Turn off two-step verification to turn it off.
    3. Follow the instructions.

Note: As part of setting up this account, you’ll be given a QR code to scan with your device; this is one way we ensure you are in physical possession of the device you are installing the Authenticator app to.
