Hi john ,

Yes, it is possible to copy and export a SharePoint contact list to Outlook. To do so, you can follow these steps:

Go to the SharePoint site home page. Select New-->App-->Contact (Need to search in classic experience).

Find and Click the List, and then click Connect to Outlook in the command bar (Need to operate under classic experience).

Then the web page prompts that Outlook needs to be opened. In the Outlook dialog box, click Yes. The Contact list is saved to Outlook.

After completing these steps, the SharePoint contact list will be available in Outlook.
