Dear Microsoft Helpdesk,

I am writing on behalf of our team as we recently transitioned to the latest version of Outlook and have been experiencing issues when trying to reply to certain emails in a shared mailbox. We hope you can assist us in resolving this problem.

The specific problem occurs when we attempt to respond to emails received in a shared mailbox. When we select an email to reply to or forward, we encounter the following error message:

"The original message cannot currently be displayed. It will be included when this message is sent."

This issue significantly disrupts our workflow, as we frequently collaborate in shared mailboxes and it is essential for us to be able to respond to incoming emails quickly and efficiently. We have attempted to troubleshoot this problem ourselves, but so far, without success.

Could you please assist us in resolving this issue? We are willing to follow any necessary steps or provide further information you may require to investigate and address this matter.

Our team members heavily rely on Outlook for our daily communication, and we hope that this issue can be rectified promptly to restore our productivity.

    Hi @Yaseen Hashimi ,

    Welcome to our forum!

    Based on my test on New Outlook for windows (version 1.2023.911.900), i get the same result as yours. I'm afraid that it's by design and i didn't find any option to change it. If you need to use this feature, it's suggested that you could turn off New Outlook button to switch to Legacy Outlook.
