virtual machine are free into first 12 month of Azure account?

Hi,

My understanding is that azure virtual machines are free for the first 12 months. Unfortunately, I paid a bill of 21 euros for two virtual machines (Linux and Windows). However, I am looking ahead and please tell me where I can find Azure documentation for why it is not free in the first 12 months in Azure Cloud.

if is necessary I can provide invoice details (my Azure account start in 01.06.2023)
