Task Sequence as an app model error

I know this is still in preview, but I have an issue with Task Sequence as an app model deployment type.

When I deploy a task sequence as an application, I will get a message that the software cannot be located on a distribution point. All the files are on the distribution point, in fact if I deploy the same task sequence to the computer, it will install perfectly fine.

Looking through the SMSTS log confirms for some reason that it can't locate the data source for the first package even though the packaged is one every DP. And as I mentioned, the actual task sequence that's an app will install fine.

Am I missing something? probably a check box somewhere or something?

    Hi,

If it's convenient for you, could you please upload the fragment of the error log?
