Want to upgrade Visual Studio 2015 14.0.25431.01 to 14.0.27554 or later version, but just could not do it.
There is no "check updates" within the VS. Also, installed vs14-kb5025792.exe, but the version number still is the same.

Applied the update and the version number stayed the same in the IDE and also the "DiagnosticsHub.StandardCollector.Runtime.dll" file version also stayed the same
The reference that I found for 14.0.27554 came from the verification instructions from the KB shown below. I don't know from where you obtained that version number.

Checking the version of the "DiagnosticHub.StandardCollector.Runtime.dll" file should be the verification method for other security updates, not for this one(KB5026455). As the description says "This security update doesn’t replace other security updates", it’s possible that the version of this file("DiagnosticHub.StandardCollector.Runtime.dll") won’t be changed.
