Hello. I have a Dell Inspiron 5579 with a Windows 11 Operating system.

I have a few issues with my computer. It has been running slow before it started having issues one day and when I left it, I got the “blue screen of death”. It originally stated that the device needs repair and came up with this error code:

File: \WINDOWS\system32\winload.efi

Error code: Oxc000007b

However, the computer turned off before I could research it (approximately 15 seconds), and a new code came up on the blue screen reading

Error code: error code 0xc0000185

After trying to research the issue, and turned my computer back on, it asked me for my product key, and I put that in.

Next thing I know, my computer is stuck in the start up screen with the Dell logo and it stating “Preparing Automatic Repair”. It has been like this for over 24 hours. I tried force restarting it 4 times and still nothing has changed.

Any help?
