Facebook does not recognise the authenticator codes anymore

Question

I recently had to change phones to have mine repaired. I connected my Facebook account to the Microsoft authenticator on the new phone, successfully as I managed to log into one of my Instagram apps.

However Facebook no longer recognises any of the codes generated by the Authenticator. I have no other way of authenticating myself (FB asks for codes I was supposedly given when setting up the authenticator, which I did not get).

I run my business off Facebook and I urgently need to get access. I am hoping to get assistance since I'm using the Microsoft authenticator - which worked but now does not work. It is impossible to speak to a human at Facebook.
