Device Enrolment

Hi I want to connect a device to intune, I have a P1 Trial but I'm unable to add the device to intune. I followed the steps on the FAQ you guys have, but that only seems to work with automatic enrolment. I want to test the service before getting any additional licences.

If I click on enrolment this seems to also be blocked. There must be a way to connect a device to intune without buying another licence when I have the intune licence and I am able to connect users to azure. Thank you

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

How many devices are facing this issue? Can we enroll other devices to Intune?

1,If possible, for Windows BYOD devices enrollment: configure the MDM user scope to All and configure the MAM user scope to None to have a try. For Windows BYOD devices, the MAM user scope takes precedence if both the MAM user scope and the MDM user scope (automatic MDM enrollment) are enabled for all users (or the same groups of users). The device will not be MDM enrolled. Refer to:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/enrollment/windows-enroll

2,How do you set the enrollment restrictions? Please check the restrictions:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/enrollment/enrollment-restrictions-set

Thanks for your time. Have a nice day!

    Best regards,

    Simon
