Why is my Teams missing some stuff?

I recently downloaded Teams on my Mac, but it seems to be missing the apps, settings, files, three dots, etc. on the left.

Shouldn't it look like this?

I have Office 365, so now I'm not sure if there's something I'm missing.

Hello,

It looks like you downloaded teams for Home.
You'll want to make sure you download Teams for work or school if you have a O365 Business/Enterprise subscription

Hi @kuchan

According to the screenshot you provided, you log in to Teams with your personal account instead of your work account and you don't have a Teams license but the Teams (for free) version.

You need to purchase a license such as Microsoft Teams Essentials or Microsoft 365 Business Basic, etc. to log in to your work account.
