I'm having an issue where the user is receiving the following error message when attempting to upload a video to a Document Library on SharePoint Online Modern Site:

You don't have permission to add files to this folder so we couldn't upload [video filename].

The user in question has Edit permissions to the site/library through the Members group, and also received the same error message after being added to the Site Collection Administrators group.

It seems this is not a common issue per my test. However, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. So, please kindly provide more information below to let us work further.

1.Go to Library settings -> Permissions for this document library -> Check whether the library has unique permission, and whether the user has Edit permission for the document library.

2.If the user has Edit permission for the document library, remove the user then re-add again.

3.Return to the classic document library to upload the video again.

4.Rename the video then upload the video.

5.Create a new document library then try to upload the video.
