iOS Authenticator does not allow multiple MFA tokens for multiple environments

Question

When trying to add multiple accounts on authenticator for production, test and development environments, authenticator warns it will overwrite the previous as it has the same username - There is a workaround to use the secret key however this is not suitable for the wider user-base.
Android does not have the same issue, neither does other authenticator Apps.
