Hello,

The first error was:

SyncUpdateCatalog: Certificate 'D488BBF9A5BB199C80798B35F0C28CB9A5F55331' is not yet approved, try again after approval. SMS_ISVUPDATES_SYNCAGENT 9/13/2023 9:46:09 PM 7016 (0x1B68) STATMSG: (SRVMSG_SMS_ISVUPDATES_SYNCAGENT_CATALOG_TRUST_FAILED). SMS_ISVUPDATES_SYNCAGENT 9/13/2023 9:46:09 PM 7016 (0x1B68)

So I followed the article https://www.anoopcnair.com/fix-sccm-third-party-updates-trust-failed-issue/ and unblocked all HP Certificates. But now I have a second error:

SyncUpdateCatalog: WebException status : 'SecureChannelFailure SMS_ISVUPDATES_SYNCAGENT 9/14/2023 9:00:03 AM 1020 (0x03FC) STATMSG: (SRVMSG_SMS_ISVUPDATES_SYNCAGENT_CATALOG_DOWNLOAD_FAILED). What is the next step to troubleshoot this issue?

Thanks,

Dom

    Hi, @Duchemin, Dominique

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

The second error you are encountering indicates a failure to download the HP Client Updates Catalog. This could be due to a variety of reasons, including network connectivity issues, proxy server configuration issues, or issues with the SSL/TLS certificate used by the catalog provider.

To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check your network connectivity and ensure that there are no issues with your internet connection.
    2. Verify that your proxy server configuration is correct.
    3. Check the bypass list and make sure that .microsoft.com and .windowsupdate.com are added to the bypass list.
    4. Check if the SSL/TLS certificate used by the catalog provider has changed since you last approved or subscribed to it. If it has, then the catalog sync will fail until the new certificate is approved in the Certificates node. You can refer to MessageID 11508 in status messages table for more information.
