Help! I just set up free Azure account, and it's locked when I try and access it

I created a free account for Azure...put my credit card in and everything set up fine. Even watched a few demo videos. Then when I tried to login into the portal, it says my account is locked. I can't get direct chat/support without logging in so I'm stuck. How do I unlock my account...but WHY is it even locked? I'm using an established account and my mail and other subscriptions like office are just fine.
