How to stop creating a document title when converting word docs to PDF

Is there a way to prevent Word from creating a document title when creating a PDF? Now when I "save as PDF", the resulting document has a title that shows in the ribbon that says "Service quote (Simple Blue design)".

I know how to remove the title by going into the pdf document properties, but I and my field guys make many pdfs per day, and it seems like an unnneccesary step (and something my guys forget to do often) to delete this title before sending it.

Is there a way to prevent Microsoft Word from adding this title to my PDFs? It never used to do this for me. I've searched through numerous forums and dont see the answer available.

Thank you

    Hi @Christopher Smith,

As per my knowledge, it is by default the PDF will have a title if the source Word file has a title there. I'm afraid currently there is no related setting which can prevent this default behavior. I would suggest raising a thread in this feedback portal: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback. The product group of Word actively monitors threads there. Share your ideas there and help us improve.
