Switch Embedded Teaming: Hyper-V Port vs Dynamic

Hi,

We are looking to switch from LBFO to SET. Our understanding is that with SET, 'Switch Independent Mode' is the only option, so we have removed the LACP config. on the switch ports we had with LBFO.

If we configure SET in Hyper-V Port mode, everything seems to work OK, but the team is limited to 10Gb.

If we configure SET in Dynamic mode, we get continual disconnects (e.g. ping drops out and comes back) and we see alerts in our network management plane (Cisco ACI) about "IP Flapping". However we get the full 40Gb bandwidth.

All of the docs I have read mention that Dynamic is the default and recommended option in most scenarios. But it doesn't work for us: and actually Hyper-V Port seems to be the default for us.

What's the current guidance?

Thanks
