Hello,
We have Exchange 2019 DAG with CU12, now we are planning to upgrade servers to CU13. I went through the article https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/plan-and-deploy/install-cumulative-updates?view=exchserver-2019, but still I am confused whether need to install all prerequisites again?
second confusion is as it mentioned the web.config files will be over written, so that means all virtual directories has to be updated after CU13 update? since our current virtual directories are like mail.xyz.com.
Kindly need the clarity before we proceed.

No need to install any pre-reqs again. If you are missing any, setup will flag that.
the web.config would only be overwritten if you have something customized in that file itself. You will not need to set the virtual directories again.
