I want to use a Windows icon for the system tray and it's a tiny/mini app/tool. Can i also use it in the Windows store or is this a graphical design element?

To be honest, I don't want a logo at all, but in the store there are images/logos for every app. A logo would alienate the function or the semantics (make it impractical) within the app. The app is only accessible by the system tray without a GUI.

The use of the icon must be specific to the function of the icon within the Microsoft software. The icon may not be used as a graphical or design element. Icons cannot be modified or altered and must appear as they would within the Microsoft software.

PS: The icon also appears automatically in the "title" bar with the app's name of the balloon tip. In Windows 10/11 the balloon tip appears as a toast notification.
